SUMMARY:Getting Ready for Report Cards - Part Two
DESCRIPTION:Assessment and evaluation aim to maintain high standards\, improve student learning\, and benefit all students\, parents\, and teachers. In gathering the information that accurately reflects how well a student is achieving the curriculum expectations\, and then judging the quality of their learning of the overall expectations\, teachers employ various tools. \nAs we approach the next reporting period with the new Ontario 2023 Language Curriculum\, we are facing questions about the whats and hows of assessment and evaluation – what tools to use\, what data to include\, how to determine a single mark\, what to include in comments\, and more. \nJoin Laura Bross\, Siobain Doyle\, Melissa Monette Smith and Jordan Sloan on Monday\, May 27 at 7:00 pm to delve into screening\, assessment\, and evaluation in the context of the new Language curriculum. \nHave questions you would like us to address? Register for this event and the confirmation email will include a link to a Google Form for submitting questions in advance. \nThis webinar will be recorded.
